Welcome to the userpage of Steven Fruitsmaak!
...although that is not my real name, just a copyrighted internet pseudonym. I've been a Wikipedian since April 2005, although I only began to be more active one year later, in April 2006. I live in Leuven, Belgium.
I waste far too much time on Wikipedia Wikinews nowadays! I migrated from Wikipedia to Wikinews after I met the friendly Wikinews community and decided that it could use more improvement than Wikipedia. I became an admin there on October 17, 2006 and an accredited reporter on March 4, 2007.
I'm currently busy studying and working to become a medical doctor, but if you need, you can E-mail me and I'll be glad to help out.
You can find out some of my skills in my userboxes. Finally, my motto is:
Non scholae, sed vitae discimus.
Enjoy Wikipedia!

Some things I am particularly proud of:
- Created: Bacteriuria (which made DYK), Iron supplements, Intercostal space, Enzyme induction and inhibition, Tree of Hippocrates (which made DYK).
- Expanded: Catamenial pneumothorax, Cystatin C (which made DYK), Gestational diabetes, Hernia, Myocardial infarction, Snoezelen, transient synovitis (which made DYK).
- Non-article namespace: Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Medicine-related articles), Portal:Medicine, Wikipedia:WikiProject Belgium.
You can see more here (outdated).
