[edit] Cleanup - March 2007

This article is wrong in many particulars, such as the location and identity of those who arrested him, who the 6000 followers were etc etc, and needs to be cleaned up. Primarily the problem is with a careless interpretation of the newspaper references on which this article is based.

Instead of criticizing others. - Keith D. Tyler (AMA) 16:18, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Rest assured I have a rewrite in progress offline. At the moment I am trying to make sure I have all the attributions correct, and that is taking a lot longer than I thought it would. Check again in the middle of next week and see if you think it's an improvement, and I will log on when I do so.

[edit] "Papuan" does not mean "Papua New Guinean"

Please note that "Papuan" does not mean "Papua New Guinean". See Papua. "Papuan", in the context of PNG, usually means "from the Papuan Region". Steven Tari is from Manus, which is in the Islands Region. The adjective to use is "Papua New Guinean". Wantok (talk) 04:29, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
