[edit] Wholesale copying
I reverted and revised to correct a version of this article which was merely a copy of the bio on Kelley's campaign site. Not only did that version pose a copyright problem, its tone was non-encyclopedic and thus not in accord with the NPOV policy. Expanding this article with more information about Kelley is fine, just so long as done in an appropriate and neutral manner. -- Padjet1 17:50, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Again, it is inappropriate to simply cut and paste campaign-related or resume-like language into a Wikipedia article (check the non-html formatting in the previous version). If you wish to expand this, by all means go ahead; just make edits consistent with WP:NPOV and WP:BLP. -- Padjet1 13:59, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] To 209.6.20.207 (& others?)
In your recent edits (which are good), you claimed that I'm including "propaganda" in the article about the new stadium deal. To be clear, I have absolutely no stake in Minnesota politics; I've never even been in the state. I just did my best to clean up the article based on the notable information found in the prior versions and in a quick news search. The only reason I persisted was to fend off edits which were mere cut-and-paste jobs from Kelley's campaign materials. So, if there is anything in the article which is inaccurate, please go ahead and correct it. -- Padjet1 14:20, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
