[edit] Notability

I quote the policy verbatim:

   * Politicians:
o Politicians who have held international, national or statewide/provincewide office,
and members and former members of a national, state or provincial legislature.[9] o Major local political figures who have received significant press coverage.[10] o Just being an elected local official, or an unelected candidate for political office,
does not guarantee notability, although such a person may be notable for other reasons besides their political careers alone.

So, under point two of the policy, Steve Jagla has received significant press coverage to qualify.
Chicago Tribune
More Tribune coverage
Pioneer Press
US Chamber of Congress
Rollcall
Daily Herald
Daily Herald
So, based on wikipeida policy Steve Jagla is notable enough to be on wikipeida unless there is other pov reason why.HAL is not IBM 17:11, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] This fundamentally wrong.

This is all wiki mumbo jumbo and disconnected to any reality is wrong. You make huge assumptions, which you are unqualified to state.

First assumption that I'm Stan. This is false. IF I am or not makes no difference and you have no way to know that. To use this as your basis to remove this bio is on this assumption that I'm Stan is flawed.
Second, By the shear fact that this candidate is on the ballot for a major federal office against another candidate with same experience (which both have none)is note worthy on to it's self. To ask to remove this is outrageous.

I feel your arguments remove are spurious and driven by pov rather than having fair and balance bio's for both democratic candidates running in the February primary for the 6th congressional district.

Also, campaign bios fall under "fair use" and and not subject to your claim of copywrite. Are you a trained attorney and as specialist in IP law? I don't think so. So, IMHO you don't get to make that call. Your opinion is no better or worst than mine. Further more, You must allow time for a consensus to be reach rather than unilaterally removing this bio.

I disagree and your augments are with out merit and in keeping with "BE BOLD" idea of wikpeida i have removed the tags unless your augments are better framed and more compelling. —Preceding unsigned comment added by HAL is not IBM (talkcontribs) 06:48, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
