[edit] Additional Image
I recently took a picture of the Stepping Stones Lighthouse and wondered if maybe the page wouldn't benefit from it. Currently the only photo is the historic one. Rather than just put mine in, I tohught I'd ask here and see if anyone had thoughts on the matter, and if I don't hear any objections in a week or so, I'll put it in. As I see it, there are a few options: 1) we could replace the historic photo in the infobox with my (modern) photo, and put the historic photo elsewhere; 2) we could leave the historic photo in the infobox and put my photo elsewhere, or 3) we could leave things as they are. I am suggesting Option 1 or potentially 2. Also, I'm open to suggestions on cropping the photo down to just show the lighthouse, versus the island it's sitting on. --Kadin2048 15:57, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- An excellent photo. Thanks for taking it and making it available. Please add it to the page (I'd go with the full thing, not cropped). -- RoySmith (talk) 16:05, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- Glad you think so. I inserted my photo into the infobox. I couldn't bear to get rid of the historical photo completely though, so I made it into a thumb and put it on the left in the text body. Right now it looks crowded, but I think as more text gets added, it'll even out. It is still a stub. I'm also going to go create a stub page for the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse, and I think I might have a photo somewhere of that one as well. --Kadin2048 13:31, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
