The article (stub) court description is wrong, even though it matches the Congress bioguide. A better description is at the CSL link I'll put in the article. The problem with rewriting this is that we don't have a decent description of the Connecticut Court system (even the current) certainly not its history. Mitchell was chief justice of the Superior Court (a trail court, although it could hear appeals from County Courts. Connecticut didn't even have a constitution until 1815, and before then the asssembly was the 'Court of last resort'. But, I don't know how to fix Mitchell's bio, and haven't got the time to write the Court's history. .... just to let you know, if you want to take up the vchallenge, a place to start is the state court website, Lou I 14:09, 7 November 2005 (UTC)
