He IS gay - it is shown on the CH4 Documentary "Batty Man" - it is avilable on the internet (via BitTorrent and C4on demand) so you can prove it for yourself It mentions several times that he is gay! And the whole documentary is about promoting gay awareness/rights in the black community!
