Talk:Stenungsund excavations

[edit] Title
The current title, Roman Graves of Stenungsund, is factually misleading. There is no claim these are Roman graves. They are graves belonging to whatever culture was local to Sweden at the time, they only contain a few Roman objects. There were no Romans there, the only claim is they had a bit more contact with Romans than previously thought.
As long as we haven't got more to go on than that one newspaper report, I suggest merging with Stenungsund, where the information will be much more easy to find. Fut.Perf. ☼ 16:07, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- For the moment, I've moved the page to Stenungsund excavations, to get the most severe error corrected. I'll propose the resulting redirect from the earlier title for deletion. Fut.Perf. ☼ 16:23, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

- No need to merge the articles. One article should focus on the excavations themselves (a work in progress) and the other article should only focus on the history, population, etc. of the municipality itself. One article deals with archaeology and the other deals with geography. They should remain separate. Deucalionite 17:18, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
