[edit] NPOV

I removed the quote (and a paragraph) that were neither cited nor NPOV. Please be sure that when something is added it represents a neutral point of view. The quote uses the word "great" when reffereing to his being selected, and this implies that it was great for him to play. It may be a direct quote from a magazine, but it still portrays a point of view (and just for clarification, the magazine may have intended a "large" moment, as in important, without making a judgement of goodness.

As for the paragraph, it was completely unsourced and portrayed a POV that he was a terrible midfielder who couldn't score a goal to save his life. --jfg284 you were saying? 11:15, 20 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] World Legends

Is it relevant to add info about Freund being selected for the World Legends in a charity game against English Legends in December 2007? Surely, it should somewhat balance the impression of him being useless? He was in fact a terrific holding midfielder. Info about Legends game. In addition, World Legends goalkeeper Erik Thorstvedt singled out Freund along with Gianfranco Zola and Roberto Di Matteo as the best players on the pitch. It sounds unbelievable, but it is true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.47.109.183 (talk) 11:25, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
