This is an article about the steak sandwich as it is known in the U.S. today.Tomticker5 (talk) 14:11, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Cheesesteak

I think the cheesesteak has a place here so I've added Pat's King of Steaks. Tomticker5 (talk) 22:23, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Louis' Lunch

I'll let the Louis' Lunch claim stand on its own page. But, I did remove the reference that was left on the page by weregerbil. I placed that reference there originally because it's the 1899 New Haven telephone directory listing for Louis Lassen. Tomticker5 (talk) 22:30, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Article Expansion

This article can (and should) be expanded greatly, although some expansion is likely to reiterate information in other articles. It could use, in addition to the famous restaurant section that the "see also" section is becoming:

  • History
  • Cooking
  • Ingredients -- not just a list, and including specifics on types of bread
  • Variants (with links)

Can anyone think of anything else? Any volunteers to help out? There's going to be a bit of research involved, particulary with expanding the "famous restaurant" section, and the ensuing cat-fights about which restaurant should and should not be on the list! Weyandt (talk) 21:24, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
