Stewart Stern

Stewart Stern (born March 22, 1922) is an Academy Award-nominated screenwriter. He is best known for writing the 1955 film Rebel Without A Cause, which starred James Dean. Two years later he scripted the narration for the documentary The James Dean Story.

Stern's other credits include Sybil, Rachel, Rachel, and The Ugly American.

Stern was the nephew of Paramount Pictures founder Adolph Zukor. He was in the 1985 vampire horror film Fright Night.
