Stewart Hosie

Stewart Hosie, (born January 3, 1963) a Scottish politician, is the Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of Parliament for Dundee East since the 2005 UK General Election[1][2].
Born in Dundee, he was educated at Carnoustie High School and the University of Abertay Dundee[2]. First standing for the UK Parliament at the 1992 General Election in Kirkcaldy, Hosie went on to stand for both the Westminster and Scottish parliaments. Prior to his election he was the SNP national organisation convenor, having previously been the Party's national secretary. He is deputy leader and chief whip of the party's Westminster group.[2]
He is married to Shona Robison, the SNP MSP for Dundee East. They have one daughter - Morag.[2]
