Steven Wilson (Paralympian)

Steven Wilson (born 1971) is an Paralympic-level athlete, who competes for Australia. In 1986, whilst a student at Newington College^{[citation needed]}, he was hit by a truck and doctors were forced to amputate his right leg just below the knee.^{[citation needed]} He took up competitive running in 1997 and won two gold medals at the 2000 Sydney Paralympics.
