Steve Tupling (born 11 July 1964, Wensleydale, England) is a former professional footballer who appeared for such teams as Middlesbrough FC Carlisle United and Hartlepool United. He is currently working as a PE teacher at Whitley Bay High School, Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, England.

Tupling's position on the pitch was midfield. The teams Steven Tupling made an appearance for include Middlesbrough F.C., Carlisle United, Newport County F.C, Cardiff City F.C., Hartlepool United F.C. and Darlington F.C.. He also appeared on loan for Torquay United and Exeter City F.C..
Hartlepool F.C. career
Tupling debut for Hartlepool United F.C. against Scarborough F.C., holding the number 8 shirt, at home on 26th December, 1989. The team won comfortably at 4-1.
The 1989/90 season saw Tupling start 26 league games for Hartlepool United and scoring 1 league goal against Rochdale F.C., at home, on 10th March in a 2-1 win.
In the 1990/91 season he made 40 league game starts and scoring 2 league goals within the season. Goal one came from the first game of the season on August 25th against Chesterfield F.C. away. The game ended in a 3-2 win. His second league goal was also against Chesterfield on 19th January, at home.
The final season for Tupling appeared for Hartlepool United in was the 1991/92 season where he made a further 17 league starts, with no goals. His last game came on 2nd May, 1992 against A.F.C. Bournemouth, at home, with a 1-0 win.
He left Hartlepool United F.C. to join Darlington F.C. at the end of the season and joined Blackburn Rovers on a free

Now teaches P.E at Whitley Bay High School full-time. Mr Tupling teaches all years and all sports. Also coaches at Tynemouth United football club.
