Steven Thomson (born 23 January 1978 in Glasgow) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for English League One side Brighton & Hove Albion.
Thomson, a midfielder, previously played for English clubs Crystal Palace, Peterborough United and Scotish team Falkirk where he later became the club captain.
Steven will be especially remembered by Crystal Palace fans for the stunning strike he scored in the clubs 3-0 victory over then Premiership side Leicester City in 2002.
He joined Brighton & Hove Albion on the 14th January 2008 ,[1] making his debut in the 1-1 draw with Huddersfield
