Steven Tang

Cr. Steven Tang (Simplified Chinese:邓文威; Traditional Chinese:鄧文威; pronounced Deng Wenwei) is a Glen Eira City Councillor in Melbourne, Australia. He was elected second into Rosstown Ward in November 2005. He received a primary vote of 2,276 votes out of 20,970 formal votes (10.85%).

Cr Tang is the current Mayor of Glen Eira City Council.

Tang was a member of the executive of the Australiasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS) and was a student at McKinnon Primary School and McKinnon Secondary College. Tang is a long-term resident of Glen Eira, living in the suburbs of East Bentleigh and Carnegie.
