Steven T. Wax

Steve Wax is a lawyer in the United States State of Oregon.[1] Wax has headed Oregon's Federal Public Defender Office for 21 years.

Wax is one of seven Oregon lawyers who has volunteered to defend those held in extrajudicial detention in the Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba.[2]

Wax defended Brandon Mayfield, the Oregon convert to Islam, who was falsely accused of a role in the Spanish al Qaeda train bombing.[3]
