Steven Sabados

Steven Sabados is a Canadian television-show host, interior designer and writer, who currently co-hosts the afternoon talk show Steven and Chris on CBC Television.

Along with co-host Chris Hyndman, Sabados stars in the first three seasons of Designer Guys, a Canadian design show which is broadcast in over seventeen countries. In 2003, Sabados and Hyndman debuted a new show with a similar format, titled Design Rivals, and more recently a makeover show called So Chic With Steven and Chris.

Born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Sabados attended Fanshawe College in London, Ontario where he graduated with a diploma in fine art. Moving to Toronto, Sabados became display director for Eatons and Roots Canada, and opened the Sabados Group, Inc., a design firm.

Sabados frequently appears as a guest expert on various television shows and as a guest columnist in various design magazines. Sabados and Hyndman are both openly gay.[1] Despite being a longtime couple off-screen, they did not publicly acknowledge their relationship until 2008.[2]
