Steven Andrew Patterson is a first class cricketer contracted to play for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in the 2007 season.

A tall seam bowler and right hand lower order batsman, he was born on October 3, 1983 in Hull and made his first class debut in 2005 against Bangladesh A, having first played list A one day cricket for his native county in 2003.

6 first class matches, up to the end of 2006, brought him 85 runs at 14.16 with a best of 46 and 2 wickets.

In 11 one day games he has scored 69 runs and thanks to 9 not outs, currently averages 69 although his top score is 25*. He has taken 13 one day wickets at 41.76.

Steven Patterson attended Leeds University between the years 2002 & 2005 where he studied Fashion Design whilst playing part time for Yorkshire CCC. After completion of this course, gaining a respectable 3rd in Fashion Design, Steven married his high school sweetheart, Beth Kilner in 2006, and have since been happily married.
