[edit] Biography

He was born in Norwalk, Connecticut to Robert E. and Hilma Marie (Johnson) Kellogg, and his love of writing and illustrating earned him a place at the Rhode Island School of Design.

In 1967, Kellogg married Helen Hill. Two years later, he began illustrating books by other authors, and soon afterwards he began publishing books on his own. He lives in Essex, New York.
