"Steve Threw Up" is an indie single released in 1994 by Beck. It contains the track "Steve Threw Up" on the A side and "Mutherfukka" and "Cupcake" on the B side. It is unknown how many copies were pressed with the initial release of this 7", but in 2000, this record was re-pressed in 4 colors, each color having 1000 copies pressed of it. The colors were Puke Green, Puke Orange, Puke Brown, and Old School Black. Each copy of the re-press had a pressing number on the inside sleeve. What could be considered a novelty track, Steve Threw Up is a mostly true account of how a friend of Beck's, Steve Moramarco, once threw up at a fairground [1]. Beck, however, does take poetic license when listing, over sparse guitar, the bizarre array of regurgitated food. Steve Threw Up is notable for having been one of the first collaborations between Beck and that dog. There is also an earlier recorded version, which turned up on Fresh Meat and Old Slabs.

The cover image is an homage to the German singer Heino.
