[edit] Biography
Steve Stacey made his only two appearances for Queensland in the first and last games of the 1983 series. Stacey occupied the left wing as Queensland triumphed 24-12 (Game One) and 43-22 (Game Three) to clinch the series.
Stacey, who played for Easts in the QRL State League (scoring a try in their 1982 Grand Final win over Redcliffe), was one of six try-scorers for Queensland as they posted a then-record Origin score in the decider.
