[edit] Angers

Steve Savidan's first year of professional football was spent with Angers SCO, his hometown team. He attracted attention from Chateauroux FC and was transferred to them after his first year with Angers SCO.

[edit] Chateauroux

Out of 20 games, Steve Savidan only managed to score three goals as a substitute. At the end of the year, he was sold to AC Ajaccio.

[edit] AC Ajaccio and back To Angers

Steve Savidan spent, for the third year in a row, only one year at a club. Steve Savidan did better than he did during his time with Chateauroux, and at the end of the year was sold from AC Ajaccio, and bought back by his first club, Angers. Interestingly, he spent only a year there.

[edit] Beauvais and Angouleme

AS Beauvais purchased Steve Savidan for the 2002/2003 season. However, over a span of 24 games, Savidan did not manage to score once. Unsurprisingly, he was transferred away at the end of year to AS Angoulême, where he played 37 games in his 2003/2004 season, scoring 12 times. At the end of the year, he was transferred to Valenciennes FC.

[edit] Years with Valenciennes

For the first time in Steve Savidan's life, he was put on the starting eleven. Valenciennes FC was to be the first team Savidan spent over a year with. He is currently still in Valencienne's roster, and has played 76 games, scoring 48 goals---his most impressive games to goals ratio to date. Savidan finished the 2005-6 season as the joint-top scorer (with 16 goals) in Ligue 2, helping his team gain promotion to Ligue 1

In a match against FC Nantes (10.02.2007) he made an impressive performance, scoring 4 goals and helping his team to a spectacular 5-2 away win.

He has settled in Valenciennes. Recently he has opened a restaurant called K9. K for his wife, Karine, and 9 for his shirt number. Before being a professional footballer, Savidan used to work part time, in the mornings, as a garbage collector.[1]
