Steve Ressel

Steve Ressel is a cartoonist, artist, producer and director. Steve has worked on a number of projects such as the animated series, Invader Zim, Rocket Power, Jumanji, Duckman, Stressed Eric, God, The Devil and Bob and many more.
Ressel had directed and produced the entire run of Invader Zim until Nickelodeon cancelled it in the middle of its second season of production. He stated he would never work on "Invader Zim" again.
After "Invader Zim" he went on to develop his own ideas. "Trubble Bub", a CGI children's program focusing on problem solving and behavior, was animated as a pilot. It is currently scripted and designed for a direct to DVD project.
He resides in North Dakota, where he is working on his comic book, "The Lost", going to press monthly starting November 2007.

He enjoys brewing beer (a hobby he picked up sometime in 2005), playing with his cat Spikey, wood working, bird watching, and watching British television, especially Doctor Who.

Ressel planned the infamous, hidden frames of "Bloody GIR" on the animated show "Invader Zim". He can be seen in quick scenes of "Invader Zim", usually in the background with Jhonen Vasquez.
