Steven Pallett is the current chairman of the Jersey Democratic Alliance, a political party in Jersey.

Pallett was born in 1959 in Jersey, he was educated at St. Marks primary school and Hautlieu college. He is the director of a company involved in the fabrication of fibreglass[1]. He serves a a committee member and manager of St Ouen's football club[2]. In April 2007 he successfully qualified as a football coach with the Jersey FA [3].

[edit] Jersey Elections 2005
In 2005 he twice ran as a candidate for the States Assembly, first for Constable of Saint Brélade, Jersey, then for Deputy of Saint Brélade, Jersey No. 2 district. He was narrowly defeated finishing third place in a field of seven, with the top two being elected, finishing 70 votes behind Peter Troy[4].
[edit] Chairman of the Jersey Democratic Alliance
When Deputy Southern stepped down as Chair of the Jersey Democratic Alliance in 2006, Steve Pallet was appointed acting chair and the executive considered the option of acting as a pressure group[5]. At the subsequent general assembly however, the party decided to continue to operate as a political party.

Steve Pallet was elected to the position of Constable's Officer for the Vingtaine de la Moye in the parish of Saint Brélade, Jersey in 2006[6].
