Steve Nardelli was the founder of The Syn with Chris Squire, Andrew Jackman, John Painter and Martyn Adelman in 1965.
He was vocalist and songwriter with Jackman and reformed the band in 2003 with Squire, Adelman and Peter Banks. He is considered one of the finest psyche prog singer/writer of his generation with songs like "Grounded", "Flowerman" and in recent years "Illusion" and "Cathedral of Love", this being heralded a progressive masterpiece. 20th Century Guitar magazine described the Syndestructible album as the best music of the 21st Century so far.
Nardelli also founded Umbrello Records and the IPTV music station theONE.tv.
