Steve Laury is a smooth jazz guitarist and recording artist. He has primarily recorded in the Smooth Jazz format and produced five very successful solo albums.
Steve has been playing guitar since boyhood, and after moving to California formed the Jazz group Fattburger. After releasing five albums as a member of Fattburger, Laury began his solo career. His single "In My Dreams" from the Passion CD was a mainstay on the Smooth Jazz playlists in the early 90's and served to launch his solo career. To date he has sold over half a million albums.
Steve had a 10-year lapse in his recording output from 1996 to 2006 which was hard to explain. From 1991 through 1996 Laury was one of the more popular Jazz guitarists around, and then he quietly quit recording. His sudden reappearance with new music in 2006 was as surprising as his daparture.
