Steve Korkis is a highly influential figure and lobbyist for "Riders Rights" based in Southern California. He is well known within the tight knit circle of southern California motorcycle racers both underground and mainstream. Steve was responsible for creating and launching one of the largest and well known weekly motorcycle gatherings in Southern California. Steve gained full sponsorship for his CCS racing team in late 2001 and was a top ranked Superbike middleweight amateur by early 2002 when he walked away from a promising career in motorcycle racing for reasons unknown. He was considered to be one of the true up and comers of the sport in late 2001 and his departure from the sport was a shock to many in the industry. In his spare time Steve serves as a consultant for Honda Racing as well as the Isle of Man TT Race held annually in the UK.
