Steve Hass

Steve "Superfreak" Hass (born in New York City in 1975) is a professional session drummer and producer who has performed and recorded with many notable musicians, including Cher, The Manhattan Transfer, Ravi Coltrane, and Miri Ben-Ari[1]. Hass is a member of the New York City jazz trio Manhattan Vibes. He also regularly performs with pianist and Tony Williams alumnus Alan Pasqua. In 2003 Hass released a solo album named Traveler. Recently he has been touring with guitarist and Miles Davis alumnus, John Scofield along with gospel singer Mavis Staples.

Steve Hass is critically recognized as one of the few drummers of his generation to have equal abilities and success' in styles of music ranging from hard rock to be-bop to afro-cuban and brazilian.
