Steve Harrison (footballer)

Steven John Harrison (born Blackpool 26 December 1952) is an English former footballer who is currently a coach at Middlesbrough F.C.

As a player, he played as a full-back for Blackpool, Vancouver Whitecaps, Watford and Charlton.

Following his retirement, as a manager and coach, he worked at Watford, Millwall, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Preston, and Aston Villa as well as working with the England national football team under Graham Taylor, before moving to Middlesbrough in 2001. In 2003 he was appointed as the team's defensive coach.
