Steven Melvyn Hanley (born June 11, 1979 in Whitehaven, England) is a rugby union footballer who plays on the wing for the Sale Sharks.
In the 1999 Five Nations Championship Hanley won his only England cap against Wales. He scored a debut try and suffered a broken arm, but is largely remembered for him being run over by Craig Quinnell.
