Steve Gollings is a racehorse trainer based is in Scamblesby, near Louth, in Lincolnshire.

Since 2000, the number of horses Gollings trains has risen along with the number of winners he has had. Before 2000 he had a success at the Cheltenham Festival and won several other races such as the Sea Pigeon Hurdle.
[edit] Royal Shakespeare
His best jumps horse to date is Royal Shakespeare. He had a very successful Novice season which included 3 straight wins and a second to Brave Inca in a Grade 1 Novice Hurdle in Ireland, he was disappointing the following year.
The following year would be very different for Royal Shakespeare as he would go on to win the Order of Merit. The year after this he was sent Novice Chasing. He was successful, and is now a top class chaser alongside being one of the countries most respected hurdlers.
