Steven Lohoré Gohouri (born 8 February 1981 in Treichville, Côte d'Ivoire), known as Steve Gohouri, is a France born Côte d'Ivoire footballer who currently plays as defender for Borussia Mönchengladbach in the 2. Bundesliga.

Gohouri left BSC Young Boys for Borussia on a three and a half year contract on December 28, 2006 with a transfer fee of €1.5 million [1]. He had been linked with other clubs prior to the transfer, including Rangers, Wigan and Newcastle [2].
On January 27, 2007, Gohouri made his German Bundesliga debut against Energie Cottbus [3]
In March 2007, he was called up to the national team for the friendly against Mauritius and scored a brace. He was also called up for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar in Antananarivo and scored the opening goal in the 3-0 victory against Madagascar.
