Steve Giovinco

Steve Giovinco is a fine art photographer who has worked with a digital camera since 1999 to capture lyrical and psychologically charged private moments. Giovinco graduated from Washington University in Saint Louisand Yale Universitywith an MFA in photography, and lives in New York.
His work has been included in many group exhibitions at museums and galleries with artists such as Sam Taylor Wood and Jeff Wall, in Home, at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, in 2003 and with Larry Sultan, in Home is Where…, at the Weatherspoon Art Gallery, Greensboro, North Carolina.
His work is also in numerous museum collections, such as The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Brooklyn Museum, the Yale University Art Gallery, the Butler Institute, and the California Museum of Photography.
