Steve Dixon (born in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria) is an English newsreader who currently works for Sky News, presenting the flagship programmes Sky News at Seven and Sky News at Ten on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Before working for Sky News, Steve worked for ITN as both a presenter and producer for ITV, NBC Superchannel and the then brand new Channel 5. He also helped produce the news for the Channel 4 breakfast show The Big Breakfast and presented on now-defunct finance channel Simply Money with Angela Rippon. Steve was the first newsreader in the world along with Lorna Dunkley to inform of the 7 July 2005 London bombings.

Steve is a self-confessed science-fiction fanatic, and also freely admits to having an unhealthy obsession with anything technological.

Steve has gathered a large fan base since working for Sky.
