Steve Dickson

Steve Dickson is the State liberal member for Kawana and also the opposition Whip. Prio to being elected to represent this seat in 2006 Steve was the councilor on the Maroochy Shire Council for 6 years, where he worked in town planning and with the water board and task for for the Maroochy CBD. Steve is married to Deborah and they have two Children: Christian and Zeik. Christian ran for council in the By election after the resignation of his father and took over his fathers seat of division 8 and was re elected in 2008 to represent division 6 on the sunshine coast super council. Steve Dickson aggrees with the merger of the Liberal Party and the national party in QLD and in earlier 2008 actually threanted to quit the party if the liberal party members where not given the right to vote.
