Steve Bastoni (born March 4, 1966) is an Italian Australian actor.
Bastoni is best known for his role in Police Rescue as Constable Yannis 'Angel' Angelopoulos. He has also appeared in many other Australian series such as Wildside, Prisoner and Stingers. His film roles include The Heartbreak Kid, Suburban Mayhem, Macbeth, The Matrix Reloaded, and South Pacific. He starred in the high budget stage production Oliver! the musical in Sydney and Melbourne in the role of Bill Sikes alongside John Waters and Tamsin Caroll.
Theatre work includes the role of 'Rocky' in the 1987 Australian national tour of The Rocky Horror Show starring Daniel Abineri. Abineri also gave him the role of Charlie Fortune in his controversial rock musical Bad Boy Johnny and the Prophets of Doom in 1989.
In 2007, Bastoni has joined the cast of long-running Australian soap Neighbours. He has been cast as vet Steve Parker, father of a new family that moves into Ramsay Street. Actress Nikki Coghill will play his wife, Miranda, Eloise Mignon as his daughter, Bridget and Sweeney Young as his son, Riley.
Bastoni was previously involved in a relationship with actress Melissa George.
