Steve Basham (born December 2, 1977) is a footballer who plays as a striker.
Having been released by Oxford United, he signed for Exeter City in the Summer of 2007. His previous clubs include Preston North End and Southampton.
Following a set of serious injuries, Basham was not offered a new contract by Oxford United at the end of the 2006-07 season. At the time, he was the second-longest serving player at the club.
On his signing, Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale said: "He is a very confident player and he has shown his commitment by signing a two year contract. He has good pedigree and brings the best out of players around him".[1]
