Steve Bannos is an American television and film actor and writer. As an actor, he may be best known for his portrayal of Frank Kowchevski on the short-lived NBC dramedy Freaks and Geeks. Bannos has also written for Freaks and Geeks, Disney's Recess, and the Nickelodeon program Doug.

He played the characters "Mr. Combover" and "Mr. Gross" on the Nickelodeon TV show, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. Steve can also be seen in the films, 40 Year Old Virgin, Drillbit Taylor and Pineapple Express.

Steve Bannos is also an accomplished copywriter in the Entertainment Field. He has worked for all the major Hollywood ad agencies and has been dubbed the Comedy Doctor. His copywriting work consists of movie teasers and trailers, special shoot movie and television ad campaigns and scores of movie taglines.
