Sterling Airport, (IATA: 3B3, ICAO: K3B3) in Sterling, Massachusetts, is a public airport owned by Monadnock Realty Corporation. It has one runway, averages 143 flights per day, and has approximately 78 aircraft based on its field.[1]
It is a fairly inexpensive place to rent airplanes as well, as the starting rate is $75/hr for a two seater Cessna 150. The airport has lots of parking spaces out in the sun or in Hangars. The Sterling Airport closes its runways in October when the [1] sterling fair is up and running at the airport. But after the weekend in October it starts to run the runways and the airport.
Sterling Airport is also the home of the Greater Boston Soaring Club.
