Stephen Zaretski

Stephen Zaretski is a Manitoba farmer and politician. During the early 1980s, he lived in Dominion City.

In the provincial election of 1969, Zaretski ran in the riding of Emerson for the New Democratic Party. He received only 695 votes, well behind victorious candidate Gabriel Girard of the Progressive Conservative Party.

By 1981, Zaretski had crossed to the Manitoba Liberal Party. He again ran Emerson that year, receiving 308 votes and finishing a distant third against Progressive Conservative Albert Driedger.

Zaretski ran for the leadership of the Manitoba Liberal Party on March 4, 1984, but received only eleven votes.

He has not run for federal or provincial office since that time.
