Stephen Walker (Bishop)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stephen Walker has been the Anglican Bishop of Tewkesbury since 2006[1]. Educated at St John's College, Durham [2] he studied for ordination at Trinity College, Bristol before embarking on a curacy at Eastwood, Nottinghamshire[3]. From 1992 until 2002 he was a Chaplain to the Forces , a period followed by an incumbency at Marple, Greater Manchester[4]. His pastoral dedication[5]and sense of mission[6]lead to elevation to the suffragan bishopric of Tewkesbury when John Stewart Went retired[7].
