Stephen Mendel

Stephen Mendel (born in Montreal, Canada) is an actor

He started his acting career there appearing at the two English language professional theatres upon graduating from Bishop's University. He moved to Los Angeles and was then cast in the CTV series Night Heat which ran from 1985 to 1990, playing the role of Detective Fred Carson. He has guest-starred in numerous television episodics, appeared in many movies both made for television and theatrical releases. Among his many voice roles, he voiced the role of Splinter in the Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation series as well as a great number of television and radio commercials and industrial and educational narration.

He won a best supporting actor award for his work in After Crystal Night at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles and kudos for the role of Froggy in The Foreigner at the Pasadena Playhouse.
