Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers (SK6ers) is an American rock band featuring lead singer Stephen Kellogg (November 28, 1976-)[1], bassist and keyboard player Keith 'Kit' Karlson, and drummer Brian Factor. Up until recently, good friend Kyle Riabko served as lead guitarist; he left the band to pursue interests on Broadway in April 2008 though. Several members hail from Massachusetts, and went to school at UMass Amherst. The Sixers have developed a moderate fan base by touring almost nonstop year-round. In the last two years, they have performed over 300 shows, and have been steadily moving thousands of copies of their independently released albums.[2] Their album Glassjaw Boxer was honored as one of the top five albums of 2007 by USA Today critic Brian Mansfield.[3]
