Stephen Graham (born 3 August 1973 in Kirkby) is an English actor.
Graham dropped his native Liverpudlian ("Scouse") accent for a London cockney accent in the Guy Ritchie film Snatch, but reused it for MTV show Top Buzzer. Following Snatch, Graham's highest profile work in the US came in the HBO mini series Band of Brothers and in Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York. Graham is also featured in the music video for the Arctic Monkeys' number 1 hit "When the Sun Goes Down", and the short film based on the song, Scummy Man, as well as having been featured in their latest video, for the song "Fluorescent Adolescent".[1] He has recently garnered rave reviews for his performance in the Shane Meadows' film This Is England. Despite playing psychotic racist Combo in This Is England, Graham is in fact part Jamaican by a grandparent.[2]
