Stephen Bowen (born March 28, 1984 in Holly Ridge, North Carolina) is an American football defensive end for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Hofstra.

Bowen was a graduate of Half Hollow Hills High School West in Dix Hills in 2002.

Bowen went undrafted in the 2006 NFL Draft, but caught the eye of then-Dallas Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells, who promptly signed him. He recorded his first sack in 2006, in the final game of the season, sacking Jon Kitna. He was re-signed by the team as an exclusive-rights free agent in January 31, 2008.
