Stephen Ailes

Stephen Ailes (May 25, 1912 – June 30, 2001) was a prominent member of the District of Columbia Bar and a partner in the firm of Steptoe & Johnson. He served as the United State Under Secretary of the Army from 1961 to 1964 and as United States Secretary of the Army from 1964 to 1965. He attended West Virginia University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity.
