Stephanie Best (born October 16, 1969 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a retired female track and field athlete from the United States, who competed in the middle distance events. Her breakthrough came at the 1999 U.S. Nationals in Eugene, Oregon, were she finished second in a then-personal best time of 4:08.53, qualifying for her first IAAF World Championship. She won the bronze medal the same year in the women's 1.500 metres at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada.
