Stephan van den Berg (born February 20, 1962 in Hoorn, Noord-Holland) is a retired windsurfer from the Netherlands, who represented his native country twice at the Summer Olympics (1984 and 1992). He was the first Olympic champion in the men's windsurfing, claiming the gold at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, California.[1]
Stephan van den Berg currently operates a successful business with his brother in the Netherlands.
