Stephan Potgieter born 17 March 1963 is a singer residing in Brisbane, Australia. He is particularly noted for his tenor voice, but is also proficient in the piano.

Born in South Africa, Stephan Potgieter's musical journey started when he sung his first church solo at five years of age. Fuelled by his mother’s passion for Classical music, Stephan went on to study music at university level and took master classes under world class professors.

Originally, Potgieter’s musical career started in South Africa where he was broadcast on national radio and toured, performing for audiences of up to 20,000 people. In 2004, he migrated to Australia, where he developed a reputation as an exceptional soloist, performing in many concerts, church services and other special events.
